How can I tell my friends about a product that I want?
Pretty cool stuff, isn't it? If you'd like to show a friend or relative a product that you're interested in, simply find the product in our catalog and click on the E-Mail a Friend button, fill out the form and they'll get a message containing a link right back to the product that you're interested in.
We'll even give you a spot to tell them how much you'd like them to buy it for you.
What are your Exchange, Refund, and Return Policies?
Please contact BACKYARDS Inc.™ e-commerce Consumer Support regarding exchanges, refunds, or returns pertaining to on-line purchases from the BACKYARDS Inc.™ Website. All product returns are subject to the Return Policy.
We are confident that you will enjoy the products you purchase from BACKYARDS Inc.™. However, if you are not completely happy with a product you buy from us (even if you changed your mind), you have 30 days to return it. If the item purchased is oversized you will need the assistance of our Consumer Support team.
Unless the product is defective, you will be responsible for the shipping costs to return your product, and will be charged a 15% item re-stocking fee. Additionally, the original cost of shipping the product to you will not be refunded.
Products to be returned must be new, unused, unassembled, and contain all original product packaging and accessories.
Items Damaged in Shipping
Please open and inspect your items immediately upon arrival. You will have 14 days from the day you receive your order to make claims for any item damaged during shipping. After this time period, claims for damage incurred during shipment will be denied. Please contact our Consumer Support team, for assistance with your claim.
Speedy Refunds
We will process your refund promptly (within 30 days at the most) upon receipt of your returned item. Your refund will be in the same form of payment you originally used to purchase your product. Your refund will be the "total unit price" for the item listed on your packing slip (minus a 15% item re-stocking charge). Your refund will include any applicable sales taxes paid. Your refund will exclude shipping and handling charges (unless there was a shipping error) and any other service charges.
The Returns Process
These instructions are designed to speed the return of your product. Carefully follow each of the steps below, so we may provide you with a satisfactory return experience.
If you plan to return your product by common carriers (not mail or "express"), please contact our Customer Support team for assistance.
If you plan to return your product by Mail or Express Carriers:
- Contact our Consumer Support team. You will be issued a "Return Authorization" number for the item you wish to return.
- Make note of the return authorization number for your future reference.
- Place the item securely in the original package, if possible. If using another box, please pack securely to prevent damage to returned item.
- Include all paperwork, instructions, parts, and accessories.
- Fill out the bottom of the packing slip, including the reason for your return, and put it in the package.
- Keep a copy of the packing slip/return request for your reference.
- Put the return address label from the packing slip over your original home shipping address on the package.
- If return shipping by Mail: Insure your package and keep a copy of the tracking number.
- If return shipping by FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.: Keep a copy of the tracking number.
- Do not send your return C.O.D.; we cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.

Can I cancel or change an online order?
Because we begin processing your order almost immediately after you place it, we may not be able to change or cancel an order once you submit it. Yes, it's really that fast!
We may be able to modify or cancel your order if you contact Customer Service quickly enough; the sooner the better, but no longer than 24 hours after your order is submitted.

We accept orders placed within and shipped to addresses within the United States of America.
What payment methods do you accept?
Our current payment procedures are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. You are responsible for all applicable sales taxes on your purchase. We reserve the right to change our billing and payment procedures at any time by posting the new procedures on the Website.
When an order is placed, it will be shipped to the address designated by the purchaser as long as that shipping address is compliant with the shipping restrictions contained in this Website. You agree that all billing and shipping information you provide on this Website will be accurate and complete. Your provision of inaccurate or incomplete information constitutes a material breach of the BACKYARDS Inc.™ Terms of Use.
BACKYARDS Inc.™ offers shipping within the United States, and U.S. territories. All purchases from this Website are made pursuant to a shipment contract. As a result, risk of loss and title for items purchased from this Website pass to you upon delivery of items to the carrier. You are responsible for all shipping costs.
Do you offer delivery & installation services?
That's a very good question, and we're glad you asked! We're currently working with local contractors around our brick-and-mortar stores to potentially offer this type of service. When we have more information, this is the place to find it.
What kind of warranty do your products come with?
BACKYARDS Inc.™ products have a limited warranty (from the date of original retail purchase) that the product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. The length of the limited warranty varies by product and manufacturer. The warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. BACKYARDS Inc.™ dealers, service providers, or retail stores selling BACKYARDS Inc.™ products do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way change the terms and conditions of the warranty. Please refer to your product for the exact terms and conditions of the limited warranty for your purchase. The warranty included with your purchased product is your exclusive warranty.
How can I track my order?
If you'd like to track the status of your order, please contact Customer Service. If you'd like to e-mail your request be sure to include your name, order number, order amount, and order date to help them get back to you quicker.
